I teach several yoga classes a week in different spaces around Brighton. All my classes are drop-ins and suitable for all levels, including beginners. Classes vary in length and usually start with breath work (pranayama) to settle the mind and body, before moving into more dynamic postures (asana) and ending with a more restorative and relaxing sequence. Sometimes there will be short meditation exercises and there is a focus on mindfulness. My aim is to create an atmosphere which is relaxing, nourishing and fun.
Mondays 9.30 – 10.30am
A mindful and refreshing way to start your week off on the right foot. This hour long class begins with breath work (pranayama) to help us be more present in our bodies and aware of our breath, and how this affects our nervous system; before moving into a mix of floor based and standing postures to leave you feeling rejuvenated, grounded and centred. This class is suitable for all levels including beginners and the over 50s.
All equipment is provided.

Yoga and Meditation
A calming space to settle mind and body, starting with simple breath work (pranayama) and floor based postures, moving naturally into seated and standing postures to open up the body and release patterns of tension, led by the breath and embodied awareness. The last 15 minutes of the class will be a guided meditation which can be practiced seated or lying down. Each week we will explore different approaches or focus to leave us feeling at ease and grounded. This class is suitable for all levels including beginners. All equipment is provided.
