Autumn half day retreat – walking and relaxing in the beautiful Sussex countryside
In need of some time and space to prepare your body and mind ready for the cooler seasons ahead? Do you find it hard to make the transition from summer to autumn, letting go of the long sunny warm days can feel tough sometimes?
Relax and unwind with Nicky on a gorgeous half day autumn countryside retreat at the lovingly restored barn at the National Trust’s Saddlescombe Farm. The morning will start with a revitalising walk from Devil’s Dyke, wandering down through this wonderful V shaped valley on the South Downs Way, arriving refreshed at the barn ready to enjoy a hot cup of tea. Nicky will lead a rejuvenating yoga session including a mix of dynamic and restorative yoga postures, pranayama and yoga nidra (yogic sleep) to send you off into your afternoon totally chilled out and ready to embrace the autumn. Home made cake and energy balls will be provided too!
Date: Sunday 22nd September
Price: £30 (or £25 for regular students) – a deposit of £5 in advance to secure a space
Timing: 9.30 am meeting at Devil’s Dyke pub car park for a leisurely walk down through the valley. The morning will be finished by 1pm.
Tea and cake will be provided.
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring shoes suitable for walking. All yoga equipment will be provided. If you would like to bring your own mat, you will have to carry it during the walk or arrange to drop it with Nicky in advance.
